The Image That Speaks First

An image arrives before we do. It reaches the room first, settles in, and quietly tells the story we are still gathering words for.

I have spent years with words. I love them, I tend them, I whisper them. And still, there are moments when a single photograph says in one breath what a page would take an afternoon to say.

This is a gentle reflection on that breath.
